What Is BPC-157?
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide – a chain of 15 amino acids – derived from a protective protein naturally found in human gastric juice. Since its discovery, BPC-157 has become one of the most widely researched and used peptides in the recovery and healing space, earning a reputation as the “Wolverine peptide” for its remarkable regenerative properties.
What makes BPC-157 unique is its extraordinary versatility. Unlike most compounds that target a single tissue type, BPC-157 has demonstrated healing effects across tendons, ligaments, muscles, the gastrointestinal tract, bones, and even the nervous system. This broad-spectrum healing action is believed to stem from its ability to modulate multiple growth factor pathways simultaneously.
How Does BPC-157 Promote Healing?
BPC-157 accelerates the body’s natural repair processes through several interconnected mechanisms:
- Angiogenesis: BPC-157 stimulates the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) at injury sites, increasing blood flow and nutrient delivery to damaged tissues – the foundation of faster healing.
- Growth factor modulation: It upregulates key growth factors including VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), EGF (epidermal growth factor), and the growth hormone receptor, creating an optimal environment for tissue regeneration.
- Anti-inflammatory action: BPC-157 modulates the inflammatory response – not suppressing it entirely (which would slow healing) but directing it productively, reducing excessive inflammation while maintaining the controlled inflammatory response needed for repair.
- Nitric oxide system: It interacts with the nitric oxide (NO) system, which plays a critical role in wound healing, blood vessel formation, and protection against tissue damage.
- Gut barrier repair: BPC-157 strengthens tight junctions between intestinal cells, directly addressing “leaky gut” and promoting GI tract healing from the cellular level up.
What Can BPC-157 Help With?
Research and clinical reports have documented BPC-157’s effectiveness across a wide range of conditions:
- Tendon and ligament injuries: Achilles tendonitis, rotator cuff tears, tennis/golfer’s elbow, patellar tendonitis
- Muscle tears and strains: Accelerated recovery from muscle damage, post-surgical muscle healing
- Gut health: IBS symptoms, leaky gut syndrome, NSAID-induced gut damage, inflammatory bowel conditions
- Joint recovery: Support for cartilage healing and reduction of joint inflammation
- Post-surgical recovery: Faster wound closure and tissue remodelling after surgical procedures
Who Uses BPC-157?
BPC-157 has found a devoted following among athletes recovering from training injuries, individuals with chronic gut issues (particularly those caused by long-term NSAID use), post-surgical patients looking to accelerate recovery, and anyone dealing with stubborn tendon or ligament injuries that have failed to respond to conventional treatment. It is often described as the single most impactful recovery peptide available.

How to Use Your Peptides
A complete visual guide to preparing, reconstituting, injecting, and storing your peptides safely. Follow each step in order.
Preparation
Gather your supplies: peptide vial, bacteriostatic water, syringes, alcohol swabs, cotton ball, and bandage.
Remove the plastic caps from both vials to expose the rubber stoppers.
Wipe the top of each vial with an alcohol swab. Let air-dry.
Reconstitution
Draw the required amount of bacteriostatic water into the syringe. Use our calculator if unsure.
Inject the water slowly into the peptide vial, letting it run down the inside wall. Do not spray directly onto the powder.
Gently swirl the vial until the powder dissolves. Do not shake.
Check the solution: no undissolved particles, no bubbles, clear liquid. If not, wait and swirl again.
Draw your dose slowly from the reconstituted peptide vial.
Injection
Hold the syringe needle-up, flick to move air bubbles to the top, and push the plunger until a small drop appears.
Choose your injection site: belly fat around the navel or outer thigh. Rotate sites between injections.
Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab.
Pinch a fold of skin at the injection site to lift the subcutaneous fatty tissue away from the muscle.
Insert the needle at a 45° angle into the subcutaneous fatty tissue, usually approximately half the needle length. Do not inject into muscle. Inject slowly.
Aftercare, Storage & Disposal
Withdraw the needle and press a cotton ball gently on the site for a few seconds.
Apply a small bandage.
Dispose of the needle in a sharps container.
Store reconstituted peptides in the fridge (2-8 °C). Avoid freezing and direct sunlight. Use within 90 days.
Category-Specific Dosing Guides
This peptide is commonly administered once or twice daily in research and practical use protocols. Depending on the application being investigated, administration may be targeted to a specific area or used more systemically.
Reconstitute
Add 2 mL of bacteriostatic water to the 5 mg vial to achieve a concentration of 2.5 mg/mL (2,500 mcg/mL). At this concentration, 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe corresponds to 250 mcg.
Choose Your Injection Strategy
For research involving tendons, muscles, or joints, subcutaneous injections are often placed near the area being investigated. For gastrointestinal or broader systemic applications, abdominal subcutaneous administration is commonly used.
Dose: 250-500 mcg daily. Those looking to buy BPC-157 online should note that administration protocols vary across published studies and practical use settings. Some protocols use a single daily administration, while others divide the dose into two administrations of 250 mcg.
Cycle Duration
Typical protocols range from 4-8 weeks, consistent with the cycle length shown in the product specifications. Longer protocols are sometimes used depending on the application being investigated.
The Healing Stack
BPC-157 and TB-500 are frequently used together in peptide research. The pentadecapeptide has been explored in relation to angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels), growth factor signaling, and tissue repair pathways, while TB-500 is commonly examined for its role in cell migration and tissue remodeling. Both peptides continue to be studied across a range of recovery-focused research models.
My knee tendon issue improved noticeably within 2 weeks. This is my go-to recovery peptide now. Clean reconstitution every time.
Stacking with TB-500 for a shoulder injury. The combo is working well — range of motion improving week over week.
Gut health improved significantly. I was using it for IBS-related issues and the research backs up what I experienced.
Fourth order. Consistent quality every time. The detailed how-to-use guide on the site is genuinely helpful for dosing.
Best BPC-157 I have sourced in Europe. Purity report matched what was advertised. Healing a stubborn elbow injury.
Achilles tendon recovery accelerated dramatically. Physio noticed the improvement before I even told him about the peptide.
Solid for gut healing. Noticed less bloating and discomfort within the first week. Reconstitution instructions were clear.
Using for a chronic wrist issue from climbing. Pain has reduced significantly by week 3. Morpho quality is reliable.
Shipping to Poland was fast and discreet. Product was well-packaged. This is my third order — always consistent.
Good recovery peptide. Combining with physio for a rotator cuff tear. Progress is steady and encouraging.
